I came across a few more recent releases, but this full-length (sophomore) album is definitely THE one to have for its perfect blend of melodic DM with thrash influences. Favorite track: Outbreak.

This has tonnes of ferocity blended in with melody in many places, the way it goes from one to the other (Or both at the same time!) feels natural and memorable too, every song has character and they all stand out from each other

This Machine Kills Zombies is the long-awaited sophomore album from UK based one-man band Foul Body Autopsy. This 8-track George A. Romero inspired zombie apocalypse concept album is a straight mix of thrash and death metal with healthy amount of social commentary within the albums lyrics. The lyrical themes deal with the current sociopolitical climate as well as biological warfare, antibiotic resistant disease and the human condition.

The album was recorded, mixed and mastered by Tom Reynolds in his studio in December of 2017 and will be self-released on March 24th, 2018. The album will be made available to stream and download for free exclusively through bandcamp
